Sunita Vishwakarma, was on her way to the Indira Gandhi civic hospital at Mira Road in the morning. A resident of Nalasopara, she boarded the second class ladies compartment.
When the train reached Naigaon, she went into labour and delivered with help from co-passengers.
The train halted at Bhayandar station and she was admitted to a private hospital in Bhayandar by the government railway police.
