The price of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) has been hiked by Rs 4.50/kg in Mumbai and piped cooking gas will be dearer by Rs 2.49 per unit from Saturday. This means, the revised price of CNG will be Rs 43.45/kg and for the basic slab of domestic PNG Rs 26.58/unit.
The prices of CNG and PNG will also go up in Thane, Navi Mumbai, Mira Road, Ambernath and Kharghar-Panvel areas after taking into account the local taxes and cess rates.
