Residents of Mira Road and Bhayander will have to pay more for the water that they use.
The general body of the Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation (MBMC) on Monday hiked the cost of water for residential purpose from Rs 7 per 1000 litre to Rs 10 per 1000 litre. The water consumed for commercial purpose has also been hiked from Rs 20 per 1000 litre to Rs 40 per 1000 litre.
