A female RPF constable, Shalini Patel (33) of the Bhayandar RPF outpost lived in Poonam Nagar, who was on sick leave for a week, was found dead under mysterious circumstances at her Mira Road home on Wednesday night. The police have filed an accidental death case and are waiting the post-mortem report to find out the cause of death.
There were no external injuries on the body and no suicide note was found.
