Two people died and one sustained serious injuries when a dumper rammed into an autorickshaw near the Dahisar check naka around 1am on Monday.
Avinash Tadkar (45) and Rakesh Joshi, police, had hailed the autorickshaw to go to Mira Road. A speeding dumper rammed into the rear of the autorickshaw, said the police.
The autorickshaw was badly mangled after the accident and Tadkar, Joshi and driver Rakesh Pal (45) died while Joshi was found to have sustained serious injuries, said the police.
